![]() ![]() You can learn a little bit more about the lore behind Morashu when you talk to Maltha Silenthoof.įor more information on Morashu, check out the Wowhead comments or Petopia!Īlright, Hunters, it’s time to show off your best transmog and pet combo for a chance at an awesome prize! Morashu is a quest kill target for one of the Hemet Nessingwary quests in Highmountain, but only because he has become corrupted by the Harpies. It would match pretty well with a Forsaken Hunter.įor more information on Felrot Courser, check out the Wowhead comments or Petopia! The Felrot Courser isn't for everyone, but it's certainly unique. It also has a chance to spawn with two different horn styles.įor more information on Elusive Chitinbuk, check out the Wowhead comments or Petopia! While not technically flagged as a rare, it won't always be up, and it's the only talbuk with this particular color and style. The Elusive Chitinbuk is the closest thing to an actual rare spawn in the Stag family. All of them are found in the Broken Isles and this is just one of the four colors available to tame (see the others here).įor more information on Wild Dreamrunner, check out the Wowhead comments or Petopia! ![]() ![]() For a full list of Stags and how to tame them, check out Petopia or the Stag family page.ĭreamrunners were made tameable in the Battle for Azeroth pre-patch. - Purges magical buffs and soothes enrage buffs on enemy targets.īelow are some of the more interesting Stags.Stags also have one special family ability: Survival of the Fittest - Reduces all incoming damage on both Hunter and pet by 20% for 6 sec.Endurance Training - You and your pet gain 5% extra health.Wowhead also has a guide on all of the buffs your pet can remove in BfA dungeons if you'd rather research ahead of time.Īll Stags are Tenacity. There are several WeakAuras that will alert you when enemy targets have buffs you can purge such as this one and this one. The only downside is your pet must be in melee range of the target you want to purge, and the ability is on the pet's GCD so you sometimes need to wait a second before using it. Hunters are unique in that they can do both offensive magic purges and remove enrage effects (also known as tranq or soothe). Having at least one player in your party that can do offensive purges has become all but a requirement in higher Mythic+ dungeons (especially if you play Alliance and don't have access to the Blood Elf racial). lets you remove almost any beneficial buff from an enemy target. Having a Tenacity pet like a Stag gives you 5% more health and the Survival of the Fittest defensive cooldown. In today's game, Stags can make great raiding and dungeon pets, especially for Marksmanship and Survival Hunters since they're Tenacity spec and bring an offensive purge/tranq ( ) without the Beast Mastery requirement. While there aren't any challenge tames or especially rare pets to chase, there are some pretty cool-looking tames available, such as the unicorns dreamrunners added in patch 8.0. Aside from regular stags, the family also includes moose, gazelle, dreamrunners (unicorns), and about thirty-eight thousand variations of talbuk. Stags were first introduced in the Warlords of Draenor expansion. We loved seeing all the awesome screenshots again so keep them coming. Thank you to all who entered! If you didn't win, don't worry!
